Love and Laughter Tag

Good Morning Lady's! Today's post is another card from conference. I have posted a similar card earlier in the year, but I took that card concept and turned it into a tag. I am in love with the Love and Laughter stamp set. It is in the top 10 most purchased stamps sets. I used the olive versamagic ink and the kaleidoscope embossing powder to make the tree sparkle. As most of you know I enjoy a bit of bling on just about everything, so why not a sparkly tree. Its magic!!

I used Bazil Chocolate Brown card stock and Willoughby TAC paper, All the inks are versamagic.

Hope you guys like. I no more cards from conference all new stuff next week.

Cupcake Shaker

When the Serendipity magalog came out I was stoked about all the fun new sets. I couldn't buy them all, but lucky me my Aunt and fellow Angel received this little cupcake set R-2038. I stamped the the cupcakes on Toodle Loo printed paper and and matted it. I used a 1" square punch and covered it with acetate. I used food coloring and sugar to make my blue crystals. Underneath the crystals is stamped Hey Sweet Thing. I used stickles to put a little bling on the sprinkles. Have a great day guys!!

Bottle Cap Rings

I am totally and completely addicted to shrink plastic, also known as shrinky dinks. I think it all started in my childhood. Anytime you can combing coloring and melting its a good time. Kind of like melting crayons between wax paper, fun for hours or you run out of crayons. I also like to come up with creative ways to make jewelry. Micheals is like crack for me I not only get sucked in on the scrapbook side of things but the beads and bobbles get me too. I spent some time with my favorite angel and cousin Suzanne and I came up with an idea to use charms and bottle caps as rings and pendants. So I thought "hey' I can make my own charms with stamps and Shrinky dinks". For conference I wanted to bring a special trade because last year I didnt have one and felt left out. This year was my year... no one makes rings. I broke out my Affirmation Badges T-2958, my frosted Shrinky dink plastic and my favorite colored pencils and made 50 charms. I was so excited. I used large jump rings to make the adjustable ring.

I hope you like them as much as I do. I had a spectacular time creating them and then coordinating the glitter. I am still finding glitter in my dining room. I have two shots for you so that you can see the actual ring as well as the charms. Have a great day. My next post will be soon.

Seminar stamp set

Every year we get a new stamp set before we go to conference. This years set was full of great words and two new angles. I was having trouble decided what to do until I came across my stash of Angelee paper. I like the idea of paper piecing and this angels outfit was just asking me to piece her dress together. So I happily stamped about 25 of her out on white card stock and then again on the Angelee patterned paper. Let me tell you it took me and a friend a couple of hours to cut her out, but I think she was worth it. I used colored pencils to color everything but the dress and I used Glaze Gelly Pens to color her Maryjane's. The Glaze pens give them a shiny look with out embossing. Hope you like.

Long time no blog...

I know its been a few months since my last blog. I am so sorry. How ever I hope to make it up to you all in the next few weeks. I just returned from seminar and I am so excited about the new catalog. Most of you know that I am single and I don't have any children so I have decided to use everyone else's kids to make samples. Lucky for me I know a ton of people with kids. So over the next few weeks I will share with you my projects from seminar as well as some new ideas. As a teaser I'll tell you I have a fabulous scrapbook paper that involves a mentos geyser..... I know your excited right. lol

Rustic Ship

As always, it has been a long since my last post. This card was made for a fathers day swap. I found the idea in the Angel catalog. I used the rustic chic paper and the ship stamp. The organza ribbon gave it a little bit of embellishment with out making it sissy. ( I think) Let me know what you think. I am having a hard time staying focused and getting to the internet in order to post. For those of you not going to conference, you will start to see all the cards that I am making. Have a great week guys.

I'm back!! My fantabulous up line sent me a package in this month and issued a challenge. I have a really hard time staying on top of my stamping and blogging, but she loves me a keeps encouraging me. This month in her package she sent a foam coaster (see below). The challenge was to create something from it. She didn't give any rules, she just wanted to see what we could create with it. Well I got so inspired that I cranked out 3.. yes, count them, 3 cards from 1 coaster.
The original coaster.
The original concept was to use the coaster as a resist image by spraying glitter mist through the coaster leaving the scroll design. I like how it came out, but you can tell me what you think. My darn camera made everything blurry so the pic is not that great but you should get the idea.
supplies: Coaster, glitter mist, decorative "stamp" edge scissors, TAC paper and TAC stamp set
My next endeavour came when I had the coaster all glittered up with the mist. I wasn't sure what to do with it, but it still looked good on the other side. I didn't want to waste it and I loved the pattern. So I decided to cut it apart and combine the resist with the actual coaster.
Supplies: Coaster (cut up) and resisted with glitter mist, TAC stamp set and Bazzil cardstock
Finally I bring you to my favorite. The remaining pieces of the coaster after it had been destroyed and artfully put back together. I like this one the best because it looks fresh and clean, but you be the judge.
I hope you all enjoy! Thanks Suzanne for the inpiration. I wouldnt be an Angel without you!!

King of Hearts

Even though I am not participating in the traditional Valentine holiday. I did make valentines for all of my co-workers. This card was made for my friend David. He's a big softy and likes to think he is in charge. He wears his heart on his sleeve so I thought he deserved to be the King of Hearts for the occasion.

I has so much fun making valentine cards that now I have an overflow. I am a rockstar kinda girl and I love this paper. I used paper mache paper to cut out the heart and I used a glossy gold and embossed the edges with gold to make it stand out. The only stamp I used on this card was the XOXO and I have no idea where it came from. I borrowed it from my Aunt.

Valentines

I have come to realise a few things about blogging. It take lots of time and patience. I tend to stamp once a month and make 8-10 projects at a time. I thought that if I uploaded all my images I could just make a blog every week. But.. I don't. This week however, I am proud to upload and share my projects. Things have been a little tense around her, so I blew off stress by buying a ton of paper at my scrapbook store. I was inspired by a last years keepsake magazine. lol I know I didn't even have a chance to go through this months issue.
The sketch is a set up, two pieces of coordinating paper and a side ribbon or piece of cardstock through the middle. I stamped the hearts in coordinating colors and tied a heart charm with a small ribbon. The colors are not as bold online but this was one of my favorites simple but elegant.

Supplies:
Cream cardstock as a base
doublesided paper that I cut and flipped over
Fiore GWP stamp from TAC
heart charm
mauve ribbon
