Cows

I have so many Fabulous ideas to share with you guys. Unfortunately, I left my camera in Florida. LOL Don't worry I found a way to take pictures with my cell phone and forward them to my email. So this week I have a flying cow for your enjoyment. I learned the coloring technique while in Florida and I wanted to color so bad, that I rummaged through my stamps to find something worth coloring. Wouldn't you know, I found a stamp set that I had never used. I had seen this cow used at conference in cute pastels. As I am not the average gal, I didn't want to cutesy it up I wanted something a bit darker. I mean really, the cow is hanging out on the moon. It should be dark right. Any way, this was my finished project. I didn't get the entire look I wanted but I think I'm getting the hang of it.

I apologise, I know the light is a bit off. My cell phone as a great camera but its flash it outrageous. In the second view you should be able to see my coloring has improved and I even masked the image and sponged in the background, and since I cant seem to make a card with out some glitter I used just a touch of stickles on the hooves. Learning to color

This week has been a whirlwind of cutting and typing out direction. We started off the week with ten projects in mind and we succeeded. In the midst of all the creative flow I learned how to color pretty. Most of my coloring looks good but it never had that professional flair. Well, let me tell you, I have found my flair!! Of course after Suzanne rushed out to get the special pencils and mineral oil we stayed up until 2 am coloring. I am not sure we needed special pencils but it always makes you feel good when you try something new. So this is what happens when you find inspiration and you stay up into the wee hours color with friends.

You can't really tell from the picture, but I cut the witch out and lifted her with a pop dot.

This is my very first posting, I am so excited. I am in Florida visiting my cousin and fellow Angel Suzanne. She is hosting an all Christmas crop this week. While down here on vacation as part of my room and board I will be helping her get ready for her crop. So far we are off to the races. We put together 7 make and takes, the goal is to have 10 for the crop. I am so excited for her she is building her business and is hosting a few events each month. I am sure that I will have pictures of all the projects at the crop for you later. Until then I leave you with my sad sad blank page.
